| Richard included me in both of my dogs progress and training every step of the way. By constantly communicating with me on how and what they were doing via phone, e-mail, and constantly sending me training photographs and videos of my dogs. I participated with Richard in the training process and Richard was beyond accommodating to my busy schedule. At the end of my dog's training - Richard accomplished exactly everything he said he would do with them and more. He worked with my dogs daily on a one-on-one basis, not throwing my dogs into some training mill or group with other dogs. What I got back from Richard are 2 completely obedient dogs. |

| Richard conveniently makes himself available for daily sessions in which you can set up according to your schedule and learn at your own pace. You can meet with him as often as you wish then take his training methods home with you to train your dog. I favor this method of training so you can personally care for and train your own dog. Richard can help you solve any problem you may have encountered in training your own dog. If I make a mistake or we’re ready for the next step I can schedule a session and/or contact Richard anytime. It’s like Richard is the coach and Bruiser and I are the TEAM. Since we’ve been working with Richard’s direction, Bruiser has become a completely different dog. One I’ll take to the blind or the line anytime. | I could not be more pleased with Richard and the excellent hunters he has created with my two little girls. Richard definitely had his work cut out for him, tasked with training my wife’s timid polar bear lab and my rambunctious black Lean Mac lab. I was very surprised when we picked them up from Richard’s house and they were behaving like angels in his home. I was even more impressed when we took them out to the field for a test run and the white dog actually hunted amazing well, despite her lack of hunting blood lines. The focus of the training was primarily on the mischievous Lean Mac dog, a breed known for being very wiry and hard to control, and he had her steady as a rock! Not only was she performing on cue with bumpers and dead birds, but was cool as ice when Richard brought the live birds out, which normally make her lose all control and memory. Richard is easy to work with as a dog owner and it is clear he cares as much for my dogs as I do. As an owner you can see your dog progress through regular visits, actual hunting trips with Richard, and consistent You Tube uploads of their progress. His approach is very different than a trainer who has a kennel full of dogs as Richard is very selective about which dogs he will take and he only has a couple at a time. The dogs stay inside Richard’s house with him so they get plenty of love and attention while constantly being trained to be a solid, well behaved pet indoors. Richard really cares about the dogs and I appreciate his regular emails checking up on their progress and how often I am getting them out in the field now that they are home with us. If you have the opportunity to have Richard train your dog, I can assure you that you will not regret the decision.
